MG Services on various Operating Systems

DealStation™

The portability of the JAVA language allows for DealStation™ to run on various operating systems. To run the JAVA DealStation™ (or any other JAVA application), the computer must have a Java Runtime Environment installed. Sun Microsystems provides various JAVA runtime environments to allow the execution of JAVA applications on Windows, Linux, and Solaris. MAC OS X is shipped with a pre-installed version of a Java Runtime Environment.

You may download the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment for your operating system from the Sun Microsystems website.

Windows Native Services

The following MG services will only work on the Windows operating systems:

Other MG Services

The following MG services are browser-based and will work on any operating system equipped with a proper browser. The latest non-beta release of either Netscape or Internet Explorer browser is recommended for use with all browser-based services.
